Prices are for monthly billing; most providers discount annual plans. Providers count usage differently — per request, per day, or in credits — so compare the limits, not just the price. Check each provider's pricing page before you decide; plans change.

When DynamiRSS is a good fit

  • You want sources that are hand-picked and already tagged into categories, so a category filter returns relevant outlets instead of anything that mentions a keyword.
  • You need non-English news — DynamiRSS covers seven languages, including Hebrew and Arabic, and flags right-to-left articles for you.
  • You're building on WordPress: the DynamiRSS Blocks plugin displays results without writing any code.
  • You want large pages of results on a small budget — up to 100 articles per request on the $29 plan.
  • You want a free plan you can ship with — DynamiRSS's free plan allows commercial use and has no delay on new articles, unlike the free tiers of NewsAPI, GNews and mediastack.

When another API is a better fit

  • You need the full text of every article. GNews includes full content on its paid plans. DynamiRSS returns a summary and a 400-character excerpt with a link to the original.
  • You need the most requests for the least money. TheNewsAPI's $19 plan allows 2,500 requests a day.
  • You need years of history. NewsAPI's paid plans search five years back, GNews goes back to 2020, and NewsData.io offers up to ten years.
  • You need the widest possible coverage. Services that index tens of thousands of sources will find more niche stories than a curated list.
